Pennsylvania – Governor’s Outdoor Conference

18 months of development preceded this 2 1/2 day conference, which focused on the connection between Pennsylvanians and their outdoor environment, exploring the trends and driving forces of a growing disconnect, their likely impacts, and a host of potential solutions to address the issue. As Conference Manager, working for the PA Governor's Office, Podium Arts founder Joseph Finneran and his team were responsible for all aspects of the event, including policy research and content development, stakeholder outreach, facilitation of the Governor’s 6-agency Event Planning Committee, fundraising, event talking points and other communications support. The team was also responsible for event registration and credentials, web content and services, speaker research, recruitment and management, technical staging and production, graphic and video production, venue arrangements, transportation, live event rundowns and site management, as well as overall scheduling and budgeting of the project.
