American Council for Young Political Leaders – Honors Gala

Podium Arts collaborated closely with the C.E.O. and staff of the American Council of Young Political Leaders to reconceive and produce the annual “ACYPL Honors” Gala for the historic organization. The event was given a make-over, enhancing the traditional annual dinner by locating it in a grand space and creating a classy, bright, modern setting for attendees. Completed on a limited budget, the event featured the use of large floor to ceiling sheers and branded banners, taking advantage of the height and abundant sunlight of the Mellon Auditorium. The decor was topped off with the striking use of luminescent, inflatable stars, rigged on a custom lift and wire system to work around the lack of any hang points in the historic venue. In the years that followed, the organization chose to reduce its fundraising cost and the event was scaled down. Podium Arts remains dedicated to creating the best possible attendee experience for this great organization, making the most of its limited event budget.
